সূরা বাক্বারার পরিচিতি ও ফযীলত Surah Al-Baqarah contacts and merits

সূরা বাক্বারাঃ এ সূরা ‘মাদানী’। হযরত ইবনে আব্বাস (রাদিয়াল্লাহু তা’আলা আনহুমা) বর্ণনা করেছেন, মদীনা শরীফে সর্বপ্রথম এ সুরাই অবতীর্ণ হয়েছে; তবে বিদায় হজ্জের সময় মক্কা মুকার্‌রামায় নাযিল হয়েছে। (তাফসীর-ই-খাযিন)

এ সুরায় ২৮৬টি আয়াত, ৪০টি রুকূ, ৬১২১টি পদ এবং ২৫,৫০০টি বর্ণ আছে। (তাফসীর-ই-খাযিন)

প্রাথমিক যুগে ক্বোরআন শরীফে সুরাগুলোর নাম লিখে রাখা হতো না। নাম লিখার এ নিয়ম (পদ্ধতি) হাজ্জাজ ইব্‌নে ইয়ূসুফই প্রবর্তন করেন।

হযরত ইবনুল আরবীর বর্ণনানুযায়ী, সূরা বাক্বারার ১০০০ নির্দেশ, ১০০০ নিষেধ, ১০০০ বিধি-বিধান এবং ১০০০ বিবরণি রয়েছে। সেগুলো মোতাবেক আমল করায় বরকত এবং প্রত্যাখ্যানে অনুশোচনা অবধারিত। এগুলোর উপর কোন বাতিলপন্থী কিংবা যাদুকরের কোন ক্ষমতা নেই।

যে ঘরে এ সূরা পাঠ করা হয় তিন দিন পর্যন্ত অবাধ্য শয়তান  সে ঘরে প্রবেশ করে না। মুসলিম শরীফের হাদীসে এরশাদ হয়েছে- শয়তান ঐ ঘর থেকে পলায়ন করে, যেখানে এ সূরা পাঠ করা হয়- (তাফসীর-ই-জুমাল)। ইমাম বায়হাক্বী এবং সা’ঈদ ইবনে মনসূর হযরত মুগীরা থেকে বর্ণনা করেছেন যে, যে ব্যক্তির নিদ্রার প্রাক্কালে সূরা বাক্বারার দশটা আয়াত পাঠ করবে সে কখনো ক্বোরআন শরীফ ভুলবেনা। সে আয়াতগুলো হচ্ছে- এ সুরার প্রথম চার আয়াত, আয়াতুল কুরসী ও তদ্‌সংলগ্ন দু’আয়াত এবং সুরার শেষ তিনটি আয়াত।
