সূরা বাক্বারা ফযীলত ও শানে নুযূল Surah Al-Baqarah merits and reason of landing

মাস্‌আলাঃ ইমাম তাবরানী ও ইমাম বায়হাক্বী হযরত ইবনে ওমর ‘রাদিয়াল্লাহু তা’আলা আনহুমা’ থেকে বর্ণনা করেন- হুযুর আলায়হিস সালাতু ওয়াস্‌ সালাম এরশাদ করেন, “মৃত ব্যাক্তিকে কবরে দাফন করার পর কবরের শির-প্রান্তে সূরা বাক্বারার প্রথম তিন আয়াত এবং পদ-প্রান্তে শেষের আয়াতগুলো পাঠ করো।”

শানে নুযূলঃ আল্লাহ্‌ তা’আলা তাঁর হাবীব সাল্লাল্লাহু তা’আলা আলায়হি ওয়াসাল্লামের প্রতি এমনি এক কিতাব নাযিল করার ওয়াদা দিয়েছিলেন, যাকে না পানি দ্বারা ধুয়ে নিশ্চিহ্ন করা যাবে, না তা জীর্ণ-শীর্ণ হবে। যখন ক্বোরআন পাক নাযিল হলো তখন এরশাদ হলো (যালিকাল কিতাবু) অর্থাৎ ‘এটা হচ্ছে সেই প্রতিশ্রুত কিতাব।’ (অন্য) একটা অভিমত হলো- আল্লাহ্‌ তা’আলা বনী ইস্রাঈলের প্রতি একটা কিতাব নাযিল করার এবং হযরত ইসমাঈল (আলায়হিস সালাম)- এর বংশধরদের মধ্য থেকে একজন প্রেরনের ওয়াদা দিয়েছিলেন। যখন নবী করীম সাল্লাল্লাহু তা’আলা আলায়হি ওয়াসাল্লাম মদীনা শরীফে হিজরত করলেন, যেখানে বহু সংখ্যক ইহুদী বসবাস করতো, তখন ‘আলিফ-লাম-মিম, যালিকাল কিতাবু’ (সূরা বাক্বারা) নাযিল করে উক্ত ওয়াদা পুরণের সংবাদ দিলেন। (তাফসীর-ই-খাযিন)
