আখিরাতে বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করা To believe in the Hereafter

সুরা বাক্বারার আয়াত ৪-৫ এর আলোকেঃ
অর্থাৎ 'আখিরাত' বা পরলোক এবং এতে যা কিছু রয়েছে, যেমন- প্রতিদান ও হিসাব-নিকাশ ইত্যাদির উপর এমন দৃঢ় বিশ্বাস এবং আস্থা রাখে যে, তাতে বিন্দু মাত্রও সন্দেহ নেই। এতে আহ্‌লে কিতাব ও অন্যান্য কাফিরদের প্রতি ইঙ্গিত রয়েছে, যারা আখিরাত বা পরলোক সম্পর্কে ভ্রান্ত আক্বীদা পোষণ করে।
'আউলিয়া' বা আল্লাহ্‌র প্রিয় বান্দাদের পর শত্রুদের উল্লেখ করা হিদায়তেরই অন্যতম হিকমত। কারণ, এ বিপরীতমুখী বর্ণনা থেকে প্রত্যেকের নিজ নিজ কৃতকর্মের প্রকৃতি ও তাঁর পরিণতির উপর দৃষ্টি নিবদ্ধ হবে।
