সুরা বাক্বারা আয়াত ১৩-১৪ এর আলোকে 

মাস্‌আলাঃ অন্য সব ফির্কা 'সালেহীন' বা আল্লাহ্‌র প্রিয় বান্দাদের মত ও পথ থেকে বহু দূরে। অতএব, (তারা) পথভ্রষ্ট। 

মাস্‌আলাঃ কোন কোন ইমাম এ আয়াতকে 'যিন্দীক্ব'- এর তওবা মাকবূল হবার দলীল হিসেবে পেশ করেছেন। (বায়দাভী শরীফ) 

'যিন্দীক্ব' ঐ ব্যক্তিকেই বলা হয় যে, যে (নবীর) নবূয়তকে স্বীকার করে এবং ইসলামের নিদর্শনসমূহ প্রকাশ করে; কিন্তু অন্তরে এমন আক্বীদা পোষণ করে, যা সর্বসম্মতভাবে 'কুফর'। এরাও মুনাফিকদের শ্রেনীভুক্ত।

টীকাঃ এ'তে বুঝা গেলো যে, 'সালেহীন'-কে মন্দ বলা বাতিলপন্থীদের চিরাচরিত প্রথা। আজকালকার বাতিলপন্থীরাও পূর্বেকার বুযর্গদেরকে মন্দ বলে। 'রাফেযী সম্প্রদায়' এর লোকেরা 'খোলাফা-ই-রাশেদীন' (ইসলামের চার খলিফা) সহ বহু সংখ্যক সাহাবীকে, 'খারেজীরা' হযরত আলী মুরতাদা ও তাঁর সহচরগণ (রাদিয়াল্লাহু আনহূম)-কে 'গায়ব মুক্বাল্লিদ্গণ' (যারা কোন ইমামের মাযহাব অনুসরণ করে না) 'মুজ্‌তাহি্‌দ ইমামদের'কে বিশেষ করে, ইমাম আ'যম আবূ হানীফা (রাহ্‌মাতুল্লাহি আলায়হি)-কে, 'ওহাবীরা' অসংখ্য আউলিয়া কেরাম ও আল্লাহ্‌র মাকবুল বান্দাদেরকে, মির্যায়ীরা পূর্ববর্তী নবীগণকে (আলায়হিমুস সালাম) পর্যন্ত, 'ক্বোরআনীরা' (চাকড়ালী) সাহাবা কেরাম ও মুহাদ্দিসগণকে এবং 'নেচারীরা' সমস্ত ধর্মীয় মহাপুরুষকে মন্দ বলে থাকে আর তাঁদের প্রতি অপবাদ দেয়ার ধৃষ্টতা ও দুঃসাহস দেখায়। 

 এ আয়াত থেকে (আরো) বুঝা গেলো যে, এসব সম্প্রদায়ই গোমরাহিতে রয়েছে। এতে দ্বীনদার আলিমদের জন্য শান্তনা রয়েছে, যেন পথভ্রষ্টদের মন্দ বলার কারণে তাঁরা অতি দুঃখিত না হন, আর মনে করেন যেন এটা বাতিলপন্থীদের চিরাচরিত স্বভাব। (মাদারিক)

টীকাঃ মুনাফিকদের এ মন্দ বলা মুসলমানদের সামনে ছিলোনা; (বরং) তাঁদেরকে তো তারা এটাই বলতো, "আমরাতো সর্বান্তঃকরণে মু'মিন আছি।" যেমন পরবর্তী আয়াতে রয়েছে "ইজা-লাকুল্লাজীনা আমানু কা-লূ আ-মান্না" (অর্থাৎ যখন তারা মু'মিনের সাথে সাক্ষাৎ করে তখন বলে, "আমরা ঈমান এনেছি।") তারা এ ধরণের মন্দচর্চা তাঁদের খাস বৈঠকগুলোতে করতো। আল্লাহ্‌ তা'আলা তাদের ঐ মুখোশ খুলে দিয়েছেন। (খাযিন) 

অনুরূপভাবে, আজকালকার বাতিলপন্থীরাও নিজেদের ভ্রান্ত ধারণাগুলোকে (বাতিল-আক্বীদা) সাধারণ মুসলমানদের নিকট গোপন করে'; কিন্তু আল্লাহ্‌ তা'আলা তাদের পুস্তক-পুস্তকি এবং লেখনীর মাধ্যমে তাদের এ গোপন ভ্রান্তি প্রকাশ করে দেন। এ আয়াত দ্বারা মুসলমানদের সাথে আমাদের মেলামেশা শুধু তাদেরকে প্রতারিত করা ও ঠাট্টা করার ছলেই এবং এজন্য যে, তাদের গোপন কথা সম্পর্কে অবহিত হওয়া যাবে ও তাদের মধ্যে বিবাদ সৃষ্টির সমূহ সুযোগ পাওয়া যাবে।" (খাযিন)

টীকাঃ অর্থাৎ ঈমানের প্রকাশ ঠাট্টা-তামাশার ছলে করেছিলো। এটা ইসলামকে অঙ্গীকার করারই নামান্তর হলো। 
মাস্‌আলাঃ নবীগণ (আলায়হিমুস সালাম) ও দ্বীনের সাথে ঠাত্তা-তামাশা করা 'কুফর'।
