সুরা বাক্বারার আয়াত ৮-১৩ আয়াত মুনাফিকদের সম্পর্কে নাযিল হয়েছে, যারা অন্তরের দিক দিয়ে কাফির ছিলো এবং নিজেদেরকে মুসলমান হিসেবে দাবি করতো। আল্লাহ্‌ তা'আলা ইরশাদ করেছেন- "মা-হুম বিমূমিনীন" "তারা ঈমানদার নয়।" এর মানে মুখে কলেমা উচ্চারণ করে ইসলামের দাবীদার হওয়া ও নামায রোযা পালন করা মুমিন হবার জন্য যথেষ্ট নয়, যতক্ষণ পর্যন্ত অন্তরে বিশ্বাস প্রতিষ্ঠিত না হয়।
মাস্‌আলাঃ এ থেকে বুঝা গেলো যে, মতো ফের্কা বা সম্প্রদায় ঈমানের দাবী করে, কিন্তু কুফরী আক্বীদা পোষণ করে তাদের সকলের বেলায় এ হুকুম প্রযোজ্য যে, তারা কাফির, ইসলাম বহির্ভুত। শরীয়তে এমন ব্যক্তিদের বলা হয় 'মুনাফিক' তাদের অনিষ্ট প্রকাশ্য কাফিরদের চেয়েও অধিক।
মিনা-ন্নাস (কিছু লোক) এরশাদ করার সূক্ষ্ম রহস্য হচ্ছে- এ সম্প্রদায়টা প্রশংসনীয় গুনাবলী ও মানবীয় পূর্ণতা থেকে এমনভাবে শূন্য যে, কোন সদ্‌গুন-বাচক কিংবা সুন্দর শব্দ দ্বারা তাদের উল্লেখই করা যায় না। (শুধু) একথা বলা যায় যে, তারাও মানুষ।
মাস্‌আলাঃ এ থেকে বুঝা গেলো যে, কাউকে 'বশর' (মানুষ) বললে তার মর্যাদা ও কামালাতের (পূর্ণতা)  অস্বীকৃতির দিক প্রকাশ পায়। এ জন্যই ক্বোরআন মজীদে বিভিন্ন স্থানে সম্মানিত নবীগণ (আলায়হিমুস সালাম)-কে যারা 'বশর' বা (তাদের মতো) 'মানুষ' বলে, তাদেরকে কাফির বলা হয়েছে। প্রকৃতপক্ষে, নবীগণ (আলায়হিমুস সালাম)-এর মর্যাদার ক্ষেত্রে এমন শব্দের ব্যবহার 'আদব' বা শালীনতার পরিপন্থী এবং কাফিরদেরই নীতি। কোন কোন তাফসীরকারক অভিমত প্রকাশ করেছেন, 'মিনা-ন্নাস' শ্রোতাদেরকে আশ্চর্যান্বিত করার জন্যই এরশাদ করা হয়েছে যে, এমনি প্রতারক, ধোকাবাজ এবং এমন নির্বোধও মানব জাতির মধ্যে রয়েছে।



Verses 8-13 Surah Baqarah verse has been revealed about the hypocrites, infidels who was the heart and claimed themselves as Muslims. Allah has said: "Ma hum bimuminina" "They are not believers." This means that in the face of utter kalima of Islam, claiming to be a believer to be fasting and praying is not enough, as long as the heart is not established.

Mina-nnasa (some people) said the secret to the exquisite perfection of the human being and the quality of the community pretty empty so that no good qualities positive or mention them by word can not be beautiful. (Only) say that they are people.
This counts masalah anyone, 'Bashar' (the people) said its dignity and kamalatera (perfection) is expressed in terms of refusal. Prophets are honored in different places in the Quran itself (alayahimusa salaam) who asked, 'Bashar' or (like) people say, they have been called a kafir. In fact, the Prophets (peace be alayahimusa) to the dignity of the use of the word 'etiquette' and kaphiraderai or contrary to the principle of modesty. Some commentators have expressed the opinion, "Meena-nnasa" to astonish the audience that has been said, such a fraud, a fraud, and that the human race is foolish.
